The Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic approved the production calendar and working hours standards for 2025. The department published the corresponding order on its website.
Thus, the following non-working holidays will be observed next year:
January 1 – New Year;
February 23 – Defender of the Fatherland Day;
March 8 – International Women’s Day;
March 21 – National holiday Nooruz;
April 7 – Day of the People’s April Revolution;
May 1 – Labor Day;
May 5 – Constitution Day of the Kyrgyz Republic;
May 9 – Victory Day;
August 31 – Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic;
November 7 and 8 – Days of History and Ancestors’ Memory,
Muslim holidays “Orozo Ait”, “Kurman Ait”, determined by the lunar calendar, and January 7 – Christmas (Orthodox Christmas) are non-working holidays.
If a day off and a non-working holiday coincide, the day off is transferred to the next working day after the holiday. In order to rationally use weekends and non-working holidays by employees, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has the right to transfer days off to other days.
Pre-holiday shortened days: January 6, March 7, March 20, April 30, May 8, November 6 and December 31.
